Notes:

*      PhD students are exempt from retaking BMEG 580 and/or BMEG 581 if they already have credit for either. They will not be required to make up these credits.
**      25 credits = 18 credits for MASC equivalency + 7 credits from PhD.

• A maximum of (6) credits at the Undergraduate level (courses numbered 300-499) will be accepted per program.

• BMEG 598 seminar: 1 credit will be earned per program, three seminars required per winter term. Students must register for all winter terms until graduation. MASc and PhD must present at least once per program.

• Students accepted in the Engineering in Scrubs (EiS) program can use “BMEG 500 + BMEG 501” to fulfill (2) credits of Life Science, and (3) credits of Applied Science.

Students are encouraged to fill in a course checklist as early as possible, in order to plan for a successful program. MASc and PhD students should consult their program supervisors to ensure the courses selected will benefit their research goals.

UNRELATED COURSES

Note:
Students should not take courses that are not part of their degree program. If they wish to do so, they must apply for Unclassified status and pay separately for the non-program courses. Courses taken as an unclassified student are not subject to the grading requirements of courses taken as part of the graduate program.
