The SBME Blueprint
The SBME has embarked on an exciting exploration of what is possible at the leading edge of interdisciplinary science.
The School’s research and education initiatives, as well as its community of students, faculty and staff, are making an impact on health and healthcare right now, with programs tackling everything from the human microbiome to cancer to stem cell therapeutics.
When viewing the human body as an engineered system, the possibilities for novel treatments, deployment methods and protocols broaden while removing traditional scientific silos. This is the goal of the SBME, and why it is a blueprint for the future of medicine.
Help us go further by supporting one of our innovative programs or donating to the development of Canada’s Living Laboratory, our new state-of-the-art facility scheduled for completion in 2024.
