Sessional Lecturers

  • Lectures and laboratories (three sections) will be held weekly on Tuesday.
  • Timeline: 2022/2023 WINTER TERM 2 (January to April 2023)
  • Lecture: 2 hours per week
  • Laboratory: 3 sessions in total, 2 hours each for a total of 6 hours to be run by TAs.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to provide biomedical engineering students with a collaborative opportunity to explore four areas of biomedical engineering. Through a series of laboratory modules, students will be introduced to the connections between engineering principles and design, biological systems and biomedical techniques. Highlights of relevant biomedical engineering research will be discussed. The course also aims to expand students’ technical skills in design and experimentation, while developing effective written and oral communication skills.
