SBME Student Services does not process undergraduate admissions. I’m afraid we’re unable to answer any queries regarding UBC admission. Please see the resources below to assist you with your inquiry:
Applying to UBC
Prospective students must submit their applications to UBC undergraduate admissions (https://www.ubc.ca/admissions/). If you have further questions about the admission process or requirements in general, you can reach out to UBC Enrolment Services (https://www.askme.ubc.ca/form/s/).
Applying to Engineering
Engineering Student Services can also answer your questions about Bachelor of Applied Science admissions. You can find information about the undergraduate admissions process here (https://engineering.ubc.ca/admissions/undergraduate) and their contact here (https://academicservices.engineering.ubc.ca/academic-advising/contact-us/).
PBME STT
After admission to the Bachelor of Applied Science, students are given the opportunity to submit a supplementary form for permission to register in the Pre-Biomedical Engineering Standard Timetable (PBME STT). You can find more on the Engineering website (https://engineering.ubc.ca/academics/undergraduate/engineering-programs/biomedical-engineering) and on our FAQ (https://www.bme.ubc.ca/undergraduate/faq/).
If you have further questions about the PBME STT program that cannot be answered by the above websites, please feel free to reach out to us.
BASc students can book appointments through PD Portal. Once you are logged into PD portal, make sure to click on "Discipline Program Advising" in the left panel and select "Discipline Appointment Calendar". We have more instructions on the Advising CANVAS. If you click on the “Book an Advising Appointment” button, it’ll take you to the instructions.
