The Faculty of Medicine is pleased to present a Positive Space Workshop hosted by Dr. Rachael E. Sullivan, PhD (She, Her, Hers) Equity Facilitator from the UBC Equity and Inclusion Office.
This workshop is part of the Positive Space campaign, which aims to foster a welcoming environment and inclusive, respectful dialogue on campus for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities by identifying spaces where sexual and gender diversity is supported and valued. In the workshop, you will have an opportunity to learn about sexual and gender diversity and be provided with knowledge about the LGBT2SQIA+ community, terminology, and impacts of homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism.
