Program Completion Requirements

  • 30 credits

Progress Checklists may be used by students to track their progress throughout their program of study, and ensure that they meet the requirements of the program prior to graduation. It is helpful to fill in the appropriate document before meeting your Graduate Advisor, and bring it with you to your meeting. This will help the Graduate Advisor to quickly understand your current situation, with regards to courses completed. Please visit our course page for more information about specific courses.

Seminar and thesis courses

All research students are required to register in their relevant Thesis course all year round (both winter and summer terms). Seminar courses are mandatory in each winter term (no seminars are held over summer). Students normally register in full session section of the course (Term 1-2). The Term 1 only or Term 2 only section may be used by new students arriving at other than usual registration periods, or by students nearing completion of their studies.
